Things I miss

For like three days the headline news on TV here was the rights to the 2011 Rugby World Cup going to either Maori TV or TVNZ.  Seriously, practically nothing happens here so that makes big, big news.  What I'm saying is that I miss stuff happening.  Or at least I miss knowing about stuff happening.  Also none of the news programmes are up to much out here.  So I probably also miss BBC News.

I also miss Sainsbury's and actually English supermarkets.  The main supermarkets here are Foodtown and New World and both of them are rubbishio compared to our supermarkets.  Also, they call pepper 'capsicum', which is just ridiculous and wrong.  FACT.

  1. Oi! Quit your whining!! If you don't, I'm going to hijack your blog and bitch and moan about the English and England ... and as you well know I have 7 1/2 years of this joint to draw experience from!

Oh hang on, you're English. You're MEANT to whinge!! ;)

I'm not even going to try and rebut your absolutely one eyed biased and WRONG comments in this post TP. You know and I know that I am right and you are wrong and you are having a great time and that if all you've got to whinge about is a bloody supermarket and a news programme, then quite frankly sister you got nothing! FACT.

Now get over the heartburn and your whingyenss and stop making 1m Aucklanders look at you, roll their eyes and think "whinging pom"! :-p

    mwah

  2. No TV in the world can compare with ours, we've tried almost the lot over the years and ours always comes out best. News, sport, comedy, anything, but most of all the production and direction of each network, so you have fixed times and duration of adverts for example, and some understanding by the management that viewers are actually involved with a programme and not just fodder for adverts. Forgive the rant. We feel quite strongly about it, as you can tell. hope the heartburn subsides. Keep off the alcohol and spicy foods, live on yoghurt and Actimel for a bit. Too busy a lifestyle in your 18-30 club venture, it seems!!
